First pic of Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln

The first official pic of Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln has hit the web, and it’s an uncanny likeness of our 16th President of the United States. The pic is from the upcoming Steven Spielberg-directed film, Lincoln.

I can never get enough of Spielberg movies (sans Indy 4), and to hear that he’s working on an Abraham Lincoln biopic, he already had me at Hello. His last movie, War Horse, was a very good flick, too bad many people didn’t want to watch it because it’s a story about a “horse”. It still made profit though, with a worldwide box-office gross of $177 million from a $66 million production budget.

The film follows the last four months of his life as the Civil War was coming to an end.

Lincoln will be out in theaters on November 9,2012.
