Ada Wong to have single-player campaign in Resident Evil 6

I have a soft spot for deadly, mysterious Asian chicks who like to wield guns and do fancy flips. Luckily for me Capcom does too, since Resident Evil 6 will feature Ada Wong as a playable character in her own single-player campaign. The new screenshots and gameplay video show off her new outfit, revealing that she has hung up her iconic red dress in favor of black leather pants and gloves and a red long-sleeved dress shirt.

To unlock her in the game, you’ll need to finish the campaign modes for Leon, Chris and Jake.

Also revealed are new playable creatures including the zombie, J’avo, and other C-virus mutations in the Agent Hunt online mode. In this mode, you’ll be able to enter as these creatures during other players’ sessions.

To play as those creatures, you will need to beat the campaign mode for Chris, Leon or Jake to unlock the Agent Hunt stage for those characters. Players must have Agent Hunt mode turned on for others to join in as a “hunter”.

How awesome would this be if more games had this option? Just imagine being able to control a thug in the Batman: Arkham Asylum/City games. The moment you see Batman, you’ll have the option of getting your ass handed to you or…the option of getting your ass handed to you. On second that, that might not be a good idea.
