Sometimes there are some things that can’t help but put a smile on your face. The joy of a family member seeing someone return home from active duty, even if it’s just for a little bit, is heartwarming to say the least. I’ve seen many videos of soldiers dressed as Santa Claus, but I think these take the cake.

Both videos are of fathers coming home for their sons’ birthdays. The first father has a Star Wars fan for a son, so to surprise him, they had cosplayers dressed as Star Wars characters. The father himself was dressed as a Jedi. The second video shows a son dressed as Captain America for his birthday and who better to appear at the door than Captain America himself. After a little while, the Captain America reveals himself to be good ol’ dad. In both videos, it seems as if the kids aren’t surprised, but I’m sure they ar. I wouldn’t doubt it that they’r just a bit shocked as they hadn’t seen their father in quite some time.
