At Otokan, Aniplex of America announced that Durarara!! would be getting the Blu-Ray treatment in a “Limited-Edition Blu-Ray Lunch Box Set.” The set will include the series in 3 Blu-ray discs, a double sided poster and a deluxe booklet all inside a Durarara!! themed lunch box and will be a limited release.

Pre-orders start today and retail for the complete set will be $189, but while supplies last. Right Stuf has it for $150 with free shipping, which is almost like buying the 3 DVD set, only this time you also get the Japanese dubs included.  The set will be released October 30th, 2012.

Durarara!! tells the story of a cast of characters who, like in Ikebukoro, have strange things happen including a motorcyclist who has no head. Mikado Ryūgamine has just moved to Ikebukoro, and with his best friend, Masaomi Kida, showing him the ins and out. He finds himself meeting new friends and situations he could never imagine.
