NR Contest: MIMOMICRO Card Reader

Not too long ago we gave away some Batman (The Dark Knight Rises Edition) X MIMOBOT courtesy of Mimoco, but we aren’t done yet by a long shot. We gave away two USB flash drives with the Dark Knights image on front and this time, we are giving away 8 MicroSD card readers available in 8 different designs.

All 8 feature sculpted design, a built-in keychain, a flip out USB port, and an LED light when plugged in to transfer, share or read your Micro SD cards with ease. Choose between DC or Star Wars characters. The choice is yours.

We will pick the 8 best responses, 1 for each character and notify the winner by August 13th.

I would <3 the Batman one for two reasons: 1)I'd won a NR giveaway back in march and didn't know until today (FB issues) and 2) My new phone (with the FB issues resolved) won't accept my old SD card,so I REALLY need a reader to salvage my 1200+ songs. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE?!?!

I would absolutely love Chewbacca. My Great Dane, Ginger, would chortle like Chewbacca every time she got excited. No matter what she did or was excited about, hearing that would always make me laugh and put me in a good mood. She was an amazing dog that grew to be over 12 years old (impressive for a dog of her size). I’d love to be reminded of her and my favorite Star Wars character on a daily a basis

I would really love and enjoy to the fullest extent a Batman one.
For the reasons of
1. I take a lot of pictures for photography, copies of my drawn artwork, and family/friend photos. Obviously a card reader would be perfect for my needs so I can put them on my desktop.
2. WHO DOESN’T LOVE BATMAN!? Grown up with the character as a kid and I’ve loved and admired him and the character has really helped boost my confidence in my self overall
3. When I plug it in I can start singing “DUNUNUNUNUNUNUNUNUNUNUNUNUNNUNU BATMAN!”
4. I really want to save my old artwork on some other cards of mine and maybe draw some new pieces for you guys at NerdReactor if you want! I would love to oblige!

I would like the Yoda MIMOBOT because I am a middle school Literature/Language Arts teacher and I have a smart board in which I have to teach ALL of my lessons on. I have to have a USB drive on me at ALL times with every lesson I am going to teach on it. I haven’t had the chance to pick up a new USB drive for this year and would enjoy one of the Yoda MIMOBOTs.

I’d love to have the Yoda one (or any start war for that matter), why? Well I cosplay as Slave Leia and I’m known around the cons I attend as Tiny Leia because I’m only 4’9 and 85 lbs due to a growth hormone disorder. Yoda of course states size matters not! I used to wear a lanyard with a pin with that exact quote on it. I love that quote because when I was younger of course I got made fun of. The re-release of the original triology came when I was in middle school, so everyone knew Yoda. It made a decent comeback and once the prequels came out and he turned out to be kinda awesome at my school at least the teasing stopped. It’s kinda sappy but Yoda and Star Wars helped me get through the surgeries and the teasing and gave me a universe where you weren’t limited by your size.

If I win, I’d like the C3P-O mimobot. I think the design is clever and when he’s not in use, he can stand on my monitor base and attempt to assist me in all that I do. I can then reach down, snatch him up and be all, “Never tell me the odds!!!” and plug him into the pc.

  I’m a Batman and Robin fan primarily, but I’m sure the Batman Mimobot will have everyone on God’s green Earth chasing it. I’d do similar things with IT…Place him on my monitor stand when he’s not in use and have him exact justice on incoming bills and e-mails. Then he could save the day as my backup drive. My hero!

I would love to have the Vader or Chewbacca ‘mimis,’ or Batman if there are no Star Wars ones left! I’ve been a huge Star Wars fan since I was three years old, and practiced my “light-saber” skills with my brother quite often. I swear there were no bigger fans at my schools, and I tried to convert those who didn’t give the films a chance. I also watched every Batman cartoon that aired on television, on a daily basis. Bruce Wayne is my super hero. Anikan Skywalker is my McDreamy. And Chewbacca would be my best friend and body guard. You always let the wookie win.
