During Comic-Con, Sanrio teamed up with Capcom to give us Street Fighter X Sanrio, a t-shirt line that had Sanrio characters dressed up as Street Fighter characters. To celebrate that occasion, we ran the Hello Kitty/Chun Li t-shirt contest with the help from Sanrio. You can order the t-shirts at the Sanrio store.

A lot of our Nerdzillians had some great ideas, so I had to choose the ones I like randomly. But first, here are the runner-ups:

Domo Dante Kun
Sanrio should team up with Troma Entertainment, Hell yeah! A toxic avenger Hello Kitty, imagine all the cute sanrio characters as classic Toxic Crusaders! or Dear Daniel and Hello Kitty as Tromeo and Juliet! A Sgt. Kabukiman, NYPD Badtzmaru!

Kathy Bùi
“Isn’t this one obvious? In honor of the upcoming premiere of the Dark Knight Rises final installation of the Batman series, I would like to see Sanrio collaborate with DC Comics to transform Hello Kitty into the ultimate sexy CATWOMAN! She’s a historical supervillain and would be a no-brainer classic Hello Kitty. #felinesFTW <3″

And here are the three winners for the Hello Kitty/Chun Li t-shirts:

Sarah
“Hello Kitty should do a crossover with Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas!! It would be interesting if Hello Kitty would dress up as Jack Skellington. Her awesome name would be Hello Jack! I think this would totally rock the new Hello Kitty line because there are many fans of both characters from all ages!!”

Alex Pawson
“Crossover with Spartacus. Can’t you just see a bunch of adorable figures covered in blood and sand? And each one has adorable-sized weapons. Hello Kitty as Spartacus, My Melody as Crixus, Chococat as Oenomaeus, Keroppi as Glaber, Badtz Maru as Gannicus, and Kuromi as Lucretia.”

Shilo Beedy
“Hello Kitty should do a crossover with Marvel and have Rogue from X-Men or even Wolverine which would be so sweet. Imagine Hello Kitty with Wolverine claws that would be the cats meow.”
