Assassin’s Creed composer Jesper Kyd joins Borderlands 2Posted 3:10 pm on Friday, June 29th, 2012 by John 'Spartan' Nguyen
I have a confession to make. A lot of my music playlist as of late is music from Jesper Kyd. His latest samples from Darksiders II is haunting, chilling and…dare I say, beautiful. I definitely can’t wait until Darksiders II comes out in August.
Now Jesper Kyd, who has also worked on the Assassin’s Creed and Hitman series, will be composing Borderlands 2. And this will be released just a month after Darksiders 2. Talk about a busy man. To be fair, he is co-composing with Cris Velasco (God of War) and Sascha Dikiciyan (Quake II). Borderlands 2 will have a variety if musical styles to compliment its world filled with diverse landscapes.
Synopsis – Borderlands 2 features all-new characters; skills; imaginative, diverse new environments with unique missions and enemies, and more exciting and fun weapons, equipment and loot than ever before. All of these features come together in a story that takes players to the world of Pandora to take down the notorious Handsome Jack and his corrupt Hyperion Corporation as a solo campaign or with up to four cooperative players.
Borderlands 2 will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in North America on September 18, 2012, and internationally on September 21, 2012.
