Okami HD coming to Japan for the PlayStation 3

If you haven’t had a chance to play Okami on PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii or play Okamiden on the 3DS, Capcom has got some good news for you. And if you you’re already a fan, you’ll like this news too.
Today Capcom announced that Okami HD will be coming to North America this Fall as a digital download. The Goddess Amaterasu’s story of saving Japan using the power of the celestial brush will be re-told once again. The game will be remastered and will be using a 16:9 aspect ratio. It will also be getting a nice update including trophies, PS Move support, and of course, 1080p resolution. It’ll be available on the PlayStation Network for $19.99.
The game has you controlling the magical Amaterasu as she must save Japan from demons by using the power of art. Together with the power of the spirits, her brush will strengthen as she fights the evil who threatens to destroy the land.
Growing up Chris watched a lot of the original Saturday morning cartoons and developed a love for arts and animation. Growing up he tried his hand at animation and eventually script writing, but even more his love of video games, anime and technology grew.
