Possibly surveying the multiplayer landscape and seeing too many fully automatic guns, Paradox Interactive is hard at work on a medieval multiplayer combat game: War of the Roses. You can grab a crossbow, a sword and shield, hop on a horse, and battle it out with the rest of the world; but what fun would that be if people couldn’t recognize you? Players will have extensive customization options to alter their appearance and stand out from the crowd.

War of the Roses will invade the PC in the early part of Fall, right when you start classes (doh!).

The latest trailer is here, and it’s a bit flashier, but personally I like the first trailer they put out more.
