The Nintendo download is going a bit nostalgic this week with the release of Game and Watch Gallery 2, a mini-game compilation that includes an early Donkey Kong game that differs from the arcade version. One of the mini-games has Mario in a boat catching parachuting Yoshis and other characters. The rest of the mini-game is making up your own story as to why Mario is catching parachuting characters in a boat–I’m going with prison break. I like the fact that these games can be played in their original graphics style, or with new modernized graphics (eShop).

Might Switch Force!, a game we reviewed not too long ago has gotten something that I’m not accustomed to seeing on a Nintendo system: an update. The update brings five new levels, enhanced 3D effects, and a new “retry” button for those who like their time trials with as few annoyances as possible (3DS).

Snakenoid is a block-breaking game that has you using the stylus to move a snake around and smack balls back to the top. That’s my description and I’m sticking with it (DSiWare).
