Anime Expo has announced that Yuki Kajiura will be returning to perform live at Anime Expo 2012 (June 29 – July 2, 2012) at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Her blend of Japanese and European style has helped her create some truly unique tracks.

The first time I heard of Japanese composer Yuki Kajiura was when I was browsing the internet for some new Japanese/anime music to listen to. I stumbled upon a forum thread discussing music from an anime called Noir. The members recommended a song called Canta Per Me by Yuki Kajiura, and after listening to that I was hooked. I started to listen to her other tracks from Noir and then .hack//Sign.

When Anime Expo in 2003 announced that she’d be performing, I got very excited. Listening to her live was an awesome experience, and I’ll definitely be seeing her perform again this year at the convention.
