Skullgirls coming to PC later this year
Posted 11:09 am on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012 by Michael RevisSo, yeah, Skullgirls is pretty damn awesome. We even said so ourselves, and you’d be hard-pressed to find someone that disagrees. And now, it seems that PC gamers will be able to join in on the fun as well in the near future.
Autumn Games and Reverge Labs revealed today that the 2D animated fighter will be making the journey onto PC as well, after a successful launch on consoles. Not only that, but this version will also see a fair number of fixes and improvements, such as the inclusion of in-game movelists, improved online, and additional tutorial lessons. Skullgirls is planned to see release at retailers such as Gamefly and Gamersgate, as well as Origin and Steam.
As for those improvements, don’t worry console friends. You’ll be getting those as well in a free update. There will also be some console specific fixes for various things, which may also include fixing the glitch where only your character’s hitbox is visible when they tag in during team matches. As for the PC release date itself, it’s not set in stone yet, but those looking to mod Cerebella’s outfits to their liking hopefully won’t have to wait too long to get their chance.
