Nintendo download, April 26th: Super Street Fighter 2 Genesis version onlinePosted 11:12 am on Thursday, April 26th, 2012 by Ryan Southard
Whoa, did you just read that right? I’m not sure that even I read that right, but according to Nintendo, Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers has not only been added to the Wii’s Virtual Console, but it apparently has online play too! Strangely enough, it’s the Sega Genesis version of the game. Not having yet played it, I can’t tell you how well it works, but any time an online-enabled game makes its way to the Wii, it’s a reason to celebrate.
In other Nintendo news, the Nintendo 3DS got an update that makes browsing the eShop less of a hassle: you can now see two rows rather than one (yes!). If you didn’t jump for joy right there, it’s because you haven’t been using your eShop.
For all of you puzzle fanatics, there’s a new game called, Block Factory, that allows users to create their own falling-block puzzles. If you’re not in the creating mood, you can simply play the 4 pre-defined games that ship with the game. The launch price is $3.99 (3DS eShop).
Last but not least, Chip tune rock band, “I Fight Dragons”, took some time out of their regular dragon-fighting schedule to make a video for their song, “Save World Get Girl”. Check it out on Nintendo Video.
