Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday that involves families and friends gathering together to pray and remember those with which they’ve lost. The first thing that came to mind was, “Okay, that’s a bit different.” The director chosen for this film will be Toy Story 3’s Oscar-winning director, Lee Unkrich, and will be produced by Darla K. Anderson. Pixar’s Chief Creative Officer, John Lasseter, didn’t give much more information about the film except that it will be released into theaters in 2015.

Lasseter also let us know about 2 other Pixar movies in the works. One film titled “The Good Dinosaur” will be about what would have happened if dinosaurs never became extinct. It is being helmed by Bob Peterson, co-director and writer from Up. The second film comes from Up director, Pete Docter, and will take viewers on a trip inside the human mind or as the stand-in title says “The Untitled Pixar Movie that take you Inside the Mind.” The Good Dinosaur is set for release in May 2014 and the Mind film is set for a 2015 release.

Until then, you can check out 2 of Pixar’s more recent upcoming releases with Brave releasing on June 21, 2012, and Monsters University, to be released on June 21, 2013.
