Disney has released a new one-sheet poster for Wreck-It Ralph, the upcoming Disney animated film starring a video game villain trying to become a hero. As a gamer, I’m all over this, as the film parodies many video games including Halo, Mortal Kombat, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and more.
This is a funny year for Pixar and Disney. Pixar decides to go the princess fantasy route, while Disney is creating something that seems like it could be a Pixar project.
Synopsis – On his quest, he meets the tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch, TV’s “Glee”) from the first-person action game Hero’s Duty. But it’s the feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman, “The Sarah Silverman Program”) from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, whose world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade. Will Ralph realize his dream and save the day before it’s too late?
Wreck-It Ralph hits theaters on November 2, 2012.
