Two films enter, one film leaves. In this first episode, we take a look at two superheroes that are considered predecessors to many present day heroes. We discuss the similarities and differences between the two as well as how many modern day superheroes take cues from them. There were only two major superhero franchises to release prior to these films, Batman and Superman.
