Google’s April Fools’ Day prank is a Dragon Warrior NES map

Breaking with tradition by posting one day early, Google has put out a video about a new product it has been working on: a video game that you plug into your Japanese Super Famicom (NES) that brings up a map of the world in the style of Dragon Quest. They call it Google Maps, 8-bit Version. It isn’t real, of course, but what is real is the fact that you can pull up that map on the official google maps site. Watch the video below to see the NES game you can never own.
