Capcom goes after Street Fighter X Tekken offenders

If you’re playing a hacked version of Street Fighter X Tekken online, Capcom is going after you. Why? Because they say you don’t have the right to play DLC characters that aren’t released officially yet.

I find it funny because these DLC characters are already on the disc. Before the days of DLCs, we were able to unlock additional characters for free. All we had to do to get them was to earn it by fulfilling a certain criteria. Now, we need to unlock extra characters via our wallets. Now, they are being greedy and what’s worse is that you’re paying extra to get something that’s already inside the disc.

“Quite ballsy for folks to be taking hacked Xbox 360s on Live where they are detectable,” said Capcom senior vice-president Christian Svensson. “In any event, we already have opened channels of communication with MS on these issues Friday night.”

“We’ll catch them ourselves,” said Svensson, after asking Capcom Unity forum members to take screenshots of the offenders.

Check out the video of DLC characters being used online below.

If anything, we should be encouraging these guys for playing the hacked version. It’d be the kick in the teeth Capcom deserves.

I’m not screen shotting jack squat. “Capcom Unity”? Who are these clowns? Sounds like a bunch of dinky fanboys whose mothers pay for their MS points. I believe in DLC, i guess if it’s substantial. But companies are robbing you! THIS GAME COST 65 BUCKS! I define “Ballsy” as robbing us blind and then complaining about it. Get a clue jerkoff.
