‘The Testament of Sherlock Holmes’ – the next fix for L.A. Noire fans?

L.A. Noire brought in millions of fans to the decades-old point-and-click adventure genre. Unfortunately for those fans, there aren’t a slew of games of that particular style available (especially on consoles). This is where The Testament of Sherlock Holmes comes to the rescue.

With a setting of London 1989, players will take control of both Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick, Watson. As the two investigate crimes, pieces of evidence begin to amass, pointing towards Holmes himself as the perpetrator. Players will be challenged to use Holmes’ deduction techniques to draw their own conclusions, inspect crime scenes for clues they can examine and handle, and reenact crimes while discovering the truth about the legendary protagonist.

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes will be available in Spring 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. It is being developed by Frogwares and will be published by Focus Home Interactive. For more trailers, pictures, and information, visit the official website.
