New Star Wars: The Old Republic novel in the works

While Drew Karpyshyn (Mass Effect, Neverwinter Nights), the lead writer for the popular MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic and author of the tie-in novel Revan, may not be with BioWare anymore, he is still working on novels for the game itself. Recently, news of a second novel has surfaced on the Star Wars Book’s Facebook page (I wonder how many Bothans died to bring us this information).

The next book is entitled Annihilation and will feature the character Theron Shan, a Republic agent, and his Twi’lek partner, Teff’ith, as they investigate an Imperial counterattack led by an apprentice of Dath Malgus (one of the major NPCs of SWTOR).

The novel is scheduled to be released on November 13th of this year. As big Star Wars fan I’m a bit ashamed of myself as I haven’t had time to read the first SWTOR tie-in novel Revan yet. But hopefully I’ll be able to before Annihilation hits the shelves.
