While the above image certainly looks like something that could have been whipped up in Photoshop, this is actually a legitimate screenshot put out by Capcom themselves. The screenshot hints at some possible DLC for their upcoming over-the-top brawler, Asura’s Wrath, in which Street Fighter’s own Ryu guest stars in a special game mode.

Details are scarce, with only promises of more information coming in the future. What we can discern is that players should be able to fight Ryu as if you were playing Street Fighter 4. As for the question of there being other possible characters to fight, or even if this will be charged DLC, that’s up in the air.

Perhaps Capcom is testing the waters of having Asura as a playable character in future SF iterations? Or maybe this is their half-hearted attempt to make up for giving us two more shoto clones in Arcade Edition?
