Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is on its way to becoming a summer blockbuster hit. Was that a surprise to anyone? The book has been on the NY Times Bestsellers List and its author, Seth Grahame-Smith, is acclaimed for also writing Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. 

The trailer reminds me a lot of Roland Emmerich’s The Patriot. It could just be the case that the movie is set in early American history, but the action is definitely an eye-catcher, and who wouldn’t want to see old Abe Lincoln kick some ass. I’d like to see Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln at Disneyland Park, California get a new rendition – Abraham Lincoln Kicking Vampire Ass! Maybe not, but that would be cool to see.
