Last week, Nerd Reactor headed out to the West Hollywood Library to catch a sneak peak at the launch of Shonen Jump Alpha, a new weekly digital manga app that lets users read their favorite JUMP series only two weeks after their Japanese debut. There were several laptops scattered where fans can try out this new and exciting service. But that wasn’t all, there was Pocky, Curry bread, Cupcakes, and other interesting snacks that people could try out. Cosplayers from the area also showed up as JUMP characters (such as NARUTO, One Piece, DBZ, etc) to celebrate the service’s launch.
