Max Payne 3 Design and Technology Video with Bullet Time, Enemy Deaths and Enemy AI

Rockstar has released a new video for Max Payne 3, a third-person shooter, showcasing the design and technology of the game. The targeting mechanics, animation and enemy AI have been improved. The bullet dodge has been improved to look more realistic when he’s in the prone position while still being able to aim and shoot in 360 degrees all around him. The Euphoria engine is shown and showcases the enemy’s unique interaction with different types of bullets and where the bullets are entering their bodies. The enemy AI is based on the person. So if it’s a street thug, they’ll be less experienced compared to a train mercenary.

Max Payne 3 will be available in March 2012.
