First Picture of Bioware’s Newest Game Beyond Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect 3, what should be one of the best games of next year, is not even out yet, but somehow Bioware has found the time to start up a brand new IP. It is scheduled to be teased at the Spike Video Game Awards show this December 10th. Bioware knows you like a little teasing with your teasing so they put some teasing in your…well, never mind. The point is that there’s already a new picture of this brand-spanking new IP down below!

We see a desert, a destroyed vehicle, and a dude flying out of said vehicle. Looking in the background to the right, it appears that that object might be an anti-air gun. The man in the picture appears to be wearing a bandanna, and may be of African descent as well, though it is hard to tell from this picture.

Given that Fallout 3, New Vegas, Borderlands, and the recently semi-successful RAGE have all been to the desert, might Bioware be putting their title at risk of being visually boring, and too much of a retread for gamers?

With Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and now this new IP, is Bioware stretching themselves too thin, or are they dropping Mass Effect after the third iteration? Perhaps they’ve increased their staff size?

We’ll just have to wait and see what’s going on in Bioware Land this December 10th.
