Skyrim’s Choir of Vikings and 70+ Voice Actors Will Boost Your Experience

Have you ever gotten that strange vision of a choir of vikings singing in a foreign language for your brand new, highly anticipated video game? Not yet? Todd Howard has, and in this video you can see said vikings blasting out the score with their manly trumpets.

As if that weren’t enough, there’s a section on Skyrim’s voice acting, and yes, unlike Oblivion, there are more than four voice actors. Okay, so Oblivion actually had around twelve voice actors, but it sure didn’t feel that way. Skyrim, on the other hand, will be getting a major boost in this department. Todd Howard says there are at least 70 actors this time around. Some of the talent includes Christopher Plummer (A Beautiful Mind), Max Von Sydow (Minority Report), Joan Allen (The Bourne Supremacy), Linda Carter (The New Original Wonder Woman), and Michael Hogan (Battlestar Galactica, Mass Effect 2).

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is only 8 excruciating days away. It will be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on 11/11/2011.
