Modern Warfare 3’s Customizable Matches and ‘Kill Confirmed’ in Video Format

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is coming out very soon, and now is arguably its toughest time considering the competition. So, what can we expect in this latest iteration? Call of Duty is now sporting a “kill confirmed” game mode in which players must grab the dog tags of those they killed in order to receive points for the kill. Should the enemy team grab the dog tags instead, they will receive experience points and prevent the opposing team from getting those kills.

The dev team is also focusing on preventing those “danger zones” in which players are mauled to death more so than in other sections. They want the maps to flow better than in past games.

Then there’s the customization. You can create your own customized match to play with friends. You can toggle things on/off: streaks, weapons, perks etc. It’s really too bad that there wasn’t any mention of being able to search for these games online to play with strangers. I mean, if you’re limited to your friends, it will probably be harder to get some really good matches going.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is due out on November 8th, 2011 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
