Evangeline Lilly Previewing Her Elvish from ‘The Hobbit’

When Evangeline Lilly was cast as Tauriel, an elf created by Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh to balance out the sausage fest that is The Hobbit, it reminded me a lot of when Liv Tyler was cast in the Lord of the Rings movies. Both are beautiful actresses and having them speak Elvish is such a turn on. It really is a lovely and nerdy language.

Access Hollywood was able to get Lilly to give us a little taste of what’s to come. In the video, she speaks two different Elvish phrases.

The reporter is definitely a sci-fi geek. Too bad nobody bothered to tell her that the Hobbit isn’t a sci-fi movie. Next time admit that your a phony who’s pretending to be nerdy to try to get some nerd cred.

Anyway, I’m glad that Lilly is in the spotlight, since she was really cute in Real Steel and will be enjoyable to look at in the Hobbit.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters on December 14, 2012.
