Back during Anime Expo 2011, Aksys games made a huge surprise announced they would be releasing Fate/Extra, the first Type moon game ever in the US.

The RPG based off the Fate/Stay Night series introduces a new character with no memories and in the middle of the “Holy Grail War,” where servants and masters fight for one wish. But for some reason, the world is virtual. Written by the creator of the original series, the game will give fans a game with multiple story branches, leading to multiple endings and tons of gameplay with new and familiar faces.

The North American Limited Edition will not include the red Saber figma. It will still include some of the goodies found in the Japanese version such as the special 15-page Fate Visual Works art book and the 11 song Limited Soundtrack.

Fate/EXTRA will be released with an MSRP of $39.99 for the Limited Edition, $29.99 for the retail standard edition, and $24.99 for the PlayStation Network download version.
