Hands On Video Preview: ‘Kinect Disneyland Adventures’ at D23 Expo

At D23 Expo, the NerdReactor.com crew walked for 3 days exploring the Anaheim Convention Center to see what Disney had in store for the future for movies, television, theme parks around the world as well as gaming. With Kinect Disneyland Adventures, Microsoft and Disney have come together to bring the park feeling to your living room, allowing you to enjoy “The Happiest Place on Earth” anytime you want from your own house.

In the demo, we got to control our inner kid. By pointing at a location, your kid follows where you want to go. Walking around the virtual Disneyland isn’t the only thing you can do. You can also play mini games from famous attractions and interact with your favorite Disney characters.

Along with a quick demo of how to control your avatar in the Disneyland amusement park, we also got to try out a few mini games, including new ones revealed at D23 Expo. Credit to Jen Yi who is the Senior Marketing Manager on the title for taking her time to teaching us the ropes.

Kinect Disneyland Adventures is an Xbox 360 exclusive for use with the Kinect, and will be released on November 15, 2011, in the US and November 25, 2011, for Europe.
