Henry Cavill in Superman Suit Revealed for 'Man of Steel'

Looks like the Man of Steel hype machine is back in action. Yesterday, it was announced that Laurence Fishburne was cast as Perry White. With the major players out of the way, we can now move on to seeing images.

The first image from Man of Steel was released today, and it reveals Henry Cavill for the first time in his Superman outfit. The outfit is looking pretty beefy. Many Superman suits from the past have been very thin and used tights. This one looks like thick rubber?

The rubber looks thick, but still feels like it compliments Cavill’s body. The S logo is very huge, a big difference from Bryan Singer’s version. The cape is looking very lively with crazy-looking folds. Let’s not forget Superman demolishing a vault door. If this was a figure/statue, I’d buy it for sure.

Man of Steel hits theaters on June 14th, 2013.
