Deus Ex: Human Revolution Goes Gold – Bring on the Cyberpunk

Square Enix has announced yesterday that Deus Ex: Human Revolution has gone gold. With that said, the game will be available on August 23, 2011 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. I am so hoping this game is going to bring back the magic from the first game, where you truly have a choice of how you want to tackle a mission.

You play as Adam Jensen, a private security officer for Sarif Industries, a top company that specializes in human augmentation. The company gets attacked and Adam gets his ass handed to him. He is saved by augmentation and now it’s up to him to figure out what’s going on and uncover a big conspiracy.

Well, we have less than a month for this game to come out, so I feel like dumping a bunch of cool videos for the game.

Here’s the very epic Deus Ex: Human Revolution E3 2010 Trailer with dramatic music from Michael McCann.

Here’s the recent viral trailer called “Purity First” that uses live-action footage. It’s a very powerful video that asks the question if human augmentation is good or bad. I hope the game will go in deeper into the highs and lows of using augmentations.

The viral campaign is pretty cool, as they have an actual Sarif Industries website, which was recently hacked by the anti-augmentation group, Purity First.

Now here’s the E3 2011 trailer called “House of Revenge”.

Here’s the actual gameplay footage that gives us a feel for how we can choose to do a mission, whether it’s sneaking, hacking, or crashing the party.
