SDCC 2011: First Look at Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk

Well, technically it’s just concept art, but it’s better than nothing. Following the premiere of Captain America, fans got a glimpse of what was to come in The Avengers. One member that was notably missing was The Hulk. If you even blinked during the teaser, you probably missed the first glimpse of Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner. Luckily, at this year’s Comic-Con, a new concept art was revealed for the film.

Below is the first picture of what fans can expect The Hulk to look like in the film:

Well he’s definitely big and green.

It’s not really a big difference fromĀ Edward Norton’s Hulk. If anything, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk looks more accurate to the comic books. Now that I think about it, Edward Norton’s Hulk was actually quite terrifying compared to the other two.

Judging from past Marvel concept arts and how they’ve been translated into film, I’m sure the Hulk will look exactly like it does in the picture.

If you’re feeling anxious to see how all your favorite superheros will look like on one screen, fear not, Marvel has released this super EPIC Avengers Banner just for you:

The Avengers hits theaters May 4th 2012.
