Just finding its way online, a teaser poster for the next installment in the Christopher Nolan Batman series has been unveiled. The image shows, what we can only assume, is Gotham City in ruins and debris falling from the skyscrapers. Earlier this week, there were reports that film was shooting a jail break scene on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University. From eye witness reports, the scene depicts Bane freeing many of the inmates at the facility, which actually coincides with Bane’s story arc in the comics. Could the League of Shadows finally succeeded in bring about the destruction of Gotham City?

While have to wait and see, when The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th, 2012.
