March to Protest DC Reboot Designs at the San Diego Comic-Con 2011!

When DC announced they were rebooting most of their comics, I was curious at best, as were most of my fellow nerds. Unfortunately, things have taken a turn for the worst. Some of the most horrendous re-design decisions have flourished and the DC fan community is not pleased.

Zatanna looks like a club rat, Harley Quinn has the integrity of a middle aged stripper, the Teen Titans are apparently the new Youngblood, Constantine is on a team, and now dogs and cats living together! Mass Hysteria!

Now you have a chance to voice your opinion at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. A protest walk has been scheduled, and you can join the facebook event HERE . Location is TBA, but if you have had enough of DC tarnishing your favorite heroes, then join your fellow nerds on Saturday July 23rd at 2:00 pm and march for the cause!

Fernando Caire is a cosplayer, an artist, an aspiring Video editor, a prop builder, a writer, and a cinephile, with a PHD in awesome. He loves cinema, both good and bad. You will catch him once a month with a group of like minded masochists who endure 8 hours of the worst movies in cinematic history...for fun. He loves video games (shows off his "team Ps3" shirt) and loves writing about them when he gets the chance (though the only ones he ever received for review have been bad). The San Diego Comic Con is what he considers to be his once a year vacation. You will find him in line for Hall H bright and early and if you are between him and any kind of free swag...God help you.
