Already set to chase Vin Diesel again in the 6th Fast and the Furious movie, Dwayne Johnson announced on both his twitter and facebook accounts that he would be joining the “highly anticipated” sequel to G.I. Joe, G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes.
“It’s official, call the Pentagon, get me my big ass gun — Rocks a JOE!”
“The Great One” will join the cast as Roadblock with Channing Tatum, Lee Byung-hun, and Ray Park. Not returning is Cobra Commander, Joseph Gordon Levitt and director Stephen Sommers. Step Up 3D director, John Chu, will take over the reins.
So, I guess we can look foreword to the Joe/Cobra dance off hitting theaters August 10, 2012.
