Street Fighter X Tekken Announces Exclusive Character Cole For PS3, But What About 360?

At the Sony Press Conference, Ono-san dropped the announcement that Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken would have an exclusive character for the PS3 and the PS Vita. Infamous’ very own Cole MacGrath will join the battle royale between Capcom’s and Namco’s finest.

The announcement was met with mixed reaction, with some wondering if Xbox would be left out again, much like they were with the recent Mortal Kombat.  Some 360 gamers are still bitter over Nether Realms exclusion of an exclusive playable character.

It seemed so long ago that Soul Calibur 2 and Soul Calibur 4 offered equal exclusive characters for both systems and even allowed you to download the characters afterwards. The 360 has been getting the short end of the stick when it comes to add-on DLC for a while now. Sure, they get the Call of Duty Map Packs a month earlier, but some players never got the chance to prance around as The Joker in Batman: Arkham Asylum.

As I sat there, waiting for the shuttle to take me back to the to the hotel, I thought to myself…..”well, who the hell could they have picked for an exclusive character?” Marcus Fenix? Master Chief? Maybe Xbox should get some worthy opponents. Hell, bring Spawn or Blinx The Cat back.
