New Alien Game: Chest Bursting out of a Console Near You

Creative Assembly is working on a “blockbuster based on Alien”. Ed Vaizey, a UK member of parliament, tweeted:

“Great visit to Creative Assembly one of UK’s best developers. Now hiring for new blockbuster based on Alien”

Creative Assembly is owned by SEGA which has recently been publishers behind Rebellion’s Aliens vs. Predator, and of Gearbox’s development of Aliens: Colonial Marines. Surprisingly SEGA confirmed the tweet quickly. Who can trust a member of government these days anyways!? SEGA’s Creative director Mike Simpson said:

“This is very much a triple-A project,” Sega West boss Mike Hayes added. “We want this to be a peer to the likes of Dead Space 2.”

Console Alien game with “peer to Dead Space 2” written all over it? Yes please!
