Portal 2’s Authoring Tools Now Available for Your Level-Creation Needs

One of the best things about Valve games is that they have an extremely long life after release. Portal 2 has just got its extension via the official Portal 2 Authoring Tools which will allow gamers to create their own levels for either co-op or single-player, 3D models and character skins, sound effects, and music.

Valve says that they’ve updated Hammer (the Source level editor), Faceposer, and the suite of command-line compiling utilities. There are even some helpful example maps to guide you in the creation of your own.

If I ever play a map that purposely kills me, well…I hate you.

Head to think with portals for the tools.
