20th Anniversary of the Rocketeer at the El Capitan Theater

Fans of the Disney and the Rocketeer get ready to put on your helmet and strap on that jetpack because on June 21st the Official Disney Fan Club D23 will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the movie at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. Fans will be treated to a panel discussion with film director and writer Kevin Smith and a reunion of the original cast and crew from the film. And after seeing the Rocketeer on the big screen, guests are invited to tour the nearby Hollywood Museum located in the nearby historic Max Factor Building to check out a special exhibition of props and costumes from The Rocketeer, curated by the legendary Walt Disney Archives.

Members of D23 may purchase tickets on Monday, May 2nd at 10a.m. PST and will be able to reserve their own seats. The general public will be able to purchase the remaining General Admission tickets on May 23rd.  Tickets for this event will be $50.

D23 Members and their guests will also receive a special commemorative Rocketeer gift.  And all attendees are welcomed to attend the special Rocketeer exhibit following the film.  There will also be exclusive, limited edition Rocketeer collectibles available for purchase from D23 and event co-sponsor, Creature Features.
