This Portal 2 Turret Plushie Only Shoots Cuteness

Normally it’d be creepy to know that your plushies can see you, but in this case it’s the lovable Portal 2 turret (we’ll make an exception for this one). Industrious nerd, Jonathan M. Guberman, over at blog site, “Up, not North”, has co-created (with Leigh Nunan) a turret plushie that every Portal fan is going to be coveting. The hobby of sewing might even see an uptick in activity.

The plushie can sense: when someone is in front of it, when it is picked up, when it is knocked over, and even when it is put back into its standing position. It also has the authentic turret voice for all of the previously mentioned reactions. It says things like, “I see you”, “Are you still there?”, “Please put me down”, “I don’t hate you”, and more.

It can’t shoot bullets, but as GLaDoS might say, humans already find plenty of stupid ways to kill themselves that they probably don’t need help.
