Now this seems like a very smart move for the NBA Jam series. While it is a fun game, I’m not sure a lot of people are going to be willing to pay (almost) full price ($50) for the PS3 and Xbox 360 version due out this November 17th. Why wait and pay more when you can rock NBA Jam on your iPad right now for a measly $10?
There are three modes, and all 30 NBA teams are included. Classic Campaign is the core single-player mode that has you going for the championship, and allows you to unlock hidden players (including legends), and cheats. There’s also a “Play Now” mode that lets you get right to slammin’ dunks, boom-shakalakin’, and whatever other crazy verbs you can come up with. The third mode is versus, which lets you go head to head via either WiFi or Bluetooth. The multiplayer mode is also now available to iPhone and iPod Touch players via updates.
