Sean Bean to Play Harry in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D?

Sean Bean is in talks to play as Harry Mason in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D alongside Adelaide Clemens (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), who’s playing Heather Mason and Kit Harington (Game of Thrones). If he’s in, this won’t be his first time being in a Silent Hill movie, since he played a father in the first Silent Hill movie in 2006 as Christopher Da Silva. I’d say if they ever make a movie based on the Silent Hill 2 game, they should cast him as James Sunderland also. Sean Bean can play anything for all I care.

Silent Hill: Revelation started principal photography yesterday, March 7th, so it’s kind of weird that they’re still casting while they’re filming. I just hope this isn’t a rushed project.

The movie is being directed by Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane) with crew members returning from the first Silent Hill movie.

For years, Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.
