Yes Another Zombie Game: Dead Island Shocking Trailer and Screenshots

We have a new action/RPG zombie game called Dead Island on the horizon with screenshots and a trailer. Wow, now this is a cool pre-rendered trailer. It’s pretty ballsy too to see a trailer showing a dead girl.
The trailer starts off with the dead girl on the ground as a nearby zombie walks around. It then rewinds in time as we see the girl going up to the top floor of the hotel as her dad tries to fend off the zombies as the window goes back to normal and the girl is riding piggy back. We then see glimpses of the girl running away from the zombies, showing that the beginning is being played normally, while being mixed in with the second half that is being reversed. It’s hard to describe, so check out the trailer below.

Cut off from the rest of the world, only four individuals who strangely find themselves immune to zombification have the power to protect the remaining survivors from the horrors of the island, to discover what’s really going on and find a way to escape before their own fatal ends.
The game will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in late 2011.
