Move Over McG, New Director for Wonder Woman Pilot Episode

Jeffrey Reiner finding out he’s directing Wonder Woman

It was originally thought that McG would be directing the pilot for Wonder Woman on NBC. But Jeffrey Reiner is closing the deal to direct the pilot instead. McG couldn’t do it because of scheduling conflicts with his feature (Is that a good thing?). Jeffrey has directed two pilots for NBC before with The Event (2010) and Trauma (2009) and one pilot for Syfy’s Caprica, the Battlestar Galactica prequel.

Let’s hope that they stick with the Amazonian aspect of Wonder Woman and not try to make her all modern.
