Alex Proyas Attached to Adapt Sci-Fi Novel ‘Amp’

Summit Entertainment has acquired the rights to adapt Daniel H. Wilson’s sci-fi novel “Amp”. The story of Amp is set in a world where a technological and medical breakthrough can give a disabled person superhuman abilities. Alex Proyas will be producing and possibly will be directing the movie. Alex my man, I hope you still have it in you to direct a really smart and visual movie. I loved Dark City and enjoyed The Crow, but everything with I, Robot and after has made me lose faith in you.

Daniel H. Wilson also has another unpublished book, Robopocalypse, in the process of being adapted by none other than Mr. Steven Spielberg himself. The story is about robots taking over in an apocalyptic setting.
