Capcom Announces Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Collector’s Edition

As of November 15th at 11 PM, Capcom announced a Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Collector’s Edition will be available with several juicy collectibles. GameStop.com has a listing up for the pre-order of the collector’s edition and states that anyone who purchases the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Collector’s Edition will be able to download two DLC Characters, which are Shuma Gorath and Jill Valentine, 4 weeks after the release of the game.

The collector’s edition will run for $69.99 and feature the following:

• Steelbook case featuring exclusive art work.

• Comic/Art book- A 12-page prologue comic, written by Marvel writer Frank Tieri, plus campaign art and a curated selection of fan art.

• 1-month Subscription to Marvel Digital Comics, providing unlimited online access to Marvel content.

• People who pre-order through GameStop will receive MvC3 console decals created by Fathead. Also, character cards with a move list and descriptions.

Looks like Capcom is pulling out the all stops with Marvel vs. Capcom 3 following the announcements of She-Hulk and Zero being playable characters. Let’s see what else Capcom has in store.
