Tenacious D to Perform at BlizzCon in AnaheimPosted 8:52 am on Monday, October 11th, 2010 by John 'Spartan' Nguyen
In just less than two weeks, the sold-out BlizzCon will be back in Anaheim on October 22-23. BlizzCon is the destination for everything Blizzard, including StarCraft, Warcraft, and Diablo. To cap off the event, Tenacious D will be singing and jamming at the closing concert. The band is comprised of Jack Black and Kyle Gass. The closing ceremony, October 23, will have them perform on an elaborate set that includes a debut of new songs.
“The best way to wrap up two days of epic entertainment is with an epic rock concert–and few bands fit the bill like Tenacious D,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We’re looking forward to a great show and can’t wait to see what Jack and Kyle have in store for everyone attending BlizzCon and watching from home.”
And since the event is sold out, Blizzard is giving those an option to view the event live through internet live-streaming and DirecTV for $39.95 USD. Oh Blizzard, you do know how to treat the fans.
