Mark Zuckeberg Takes Facebook Staff to See The Social Network

Many may have thought that the creator of Facebook would never be caught dead in the theaters watching David Fincher’s The Social Network. Recently, the youngest website billionaire took all of his staff out for a movie night.

“To celebrate a period of intense activity at Facebook, we decided to go to the movies. We thought this particular movie might be amusing.”

The founder and his staff drank Apple Martinis and watched The Social Network. Mark Zuckerberg has gone on record to say that he would not watch the film but in a recent appearance on Oprah he said the film was “Fun” and that a majority of it was fiction.

In a recent interview with co-star Justin Timberlake, the actor/singer reported a run-in he had with the real person he portrays in the movie, Sean Parker.

“I was coming out of a bar. He was going into one in New York. At the time I hadn’t landed the part so it was a bit awkward because he’d read on the internet I was going to do it. I had to sheepishly tell him I hadn’t been told if I had it yet or not.”

Definitely awkward, one can only guess what it would be like for Jesse Eisenberg to run into Mark Zuckerberg.
