You Know Where You Are? You in the Jungle Baby and You Gonna Die! Introducing the Panasonic Jungle

It’s been about 17 years since Panasonic launched the 3DO gaming system and now they’re back to try their hand at the console market again. Panasonic calls it the Jungle and it’s targeted for the MMO-type player. What’s interesting about the device is that it will be a mobile cloud gaming system. It comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, touchpad, gaming buttons, an audio jack, a micro-USB port, a mini HDMI port and a 6 inch hi-res display. Rumor has it that it runs on a Linux platform too. As it stands, the only confirmed game is Battlestar Galactica Online, but I wouldn’t be surprised if World of Warcaft ended up on there as well. I’m guessing that the price point should be around $300 – $400 to somewhat compete with current consoles. That’s the only information that Panasonic has revealed so far. They are keeping quite secretive on the full details, so we’ll just have to wait and see what the Jungle really has to offer.

Check out the some more info here and the official site.
